The Zagreb tramway is a tram network forming part of the public transport system in Zagreb, the capital and the largest city of Croatia. It is operated by the Zagrebački električni tramvaj.

Five interesting facts about the trams in Zagreb:

  • In 1891, the first horsecar tram was established in the city.
  • The first electric tram track was here opened in 1910.
  • The city has 19 (15 daytime, 4 nighttime) tram lines.
  • They operate on 120 kilometres (7.45 mi) of metre gauge route.
  • Most of the stock today consists of 100% low-floor TMK 2200 trams.
