Trams in Zagreb (Croatian: Tramvaji u Zagrebu) is a tram system in Zagreb, the capital and the largest city of Croatia, operated by the Zagrebački električni tramvaj.



Five interesting facts about the trams in Zagreb:

  • In 1891, the first horsecar tram was established in the city.
  • The first electric tram track was here opened in 1910.
  • The city has 19 (15 daytime, 4 nighttime) tram lines.
  • They operate on 120 kilometres (7.45 mi) of metre gauge route.
  • Most of the stock today consists of 100% low-floor TMK 2200 trams.
